its weird to have a Tuesday off by its self
it just screws up my sleeping pattern
well today is a German holiday (I'm not even ganna try to spell the name) and our school buses cant get threw the parade so hence why we have the day off.
My brother has been sick for almost a week now and hes been really mad about it so I'm avoiding him at the moment (never go around him when hes mad)
So that brings me to a question
Hypothetically: Lets say you have an older or younger sibling, and they are better then you at something (it doesn't matter just use your imagination people!) and you have a... lets go with aunt and she thinks that your sibling is so great! but whenever you talk to her all she talks about is your sibling, your fine with that but when you tell her something that you accomplished or something great about yourself (because you probably want to change the subject or you just want to be praised) She just shuts down you comment and goes on talking about your sibling.
What would you think about that?
PS: no this has nothing to do with me, because I know my friends are going to think that
Well, hypothetically, the Aunt in this situation is mean and thoughtless! She should know better than to brag on the accomplishments of one niece/nephew to another. Any intelligent human being should know that the chances of family members already being aware of the accomplishments of one another is pretty good, thus negating the need to brag on one over the other. This only serves to make the niece/nephew being spoken to feel inadequate and resentful of the niece/nephew being spoken of. Now I ask you, "How nice is that?!?!?" My vindictive side would say to fight fire with fire, or to give what you get; however, the right thing to do is remember the Golden Rule and "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!" Although the first option sounds like more fun, it would probably be equally as fun to remind this naughty aunt of the Golden Rule ;)
